DesiUtils.in ("we", "our", "the Website") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We DO NOT Collect

• We do NOT upload, store, or transmit any files you process using our tools (images, PDFs, documents).
• We do NOT store any personal data entered into calculators (salary, income, health data, PAN numbers, etc.).
• We do NOT require sign-up, login, or registration.
• All tool processing happens in your browser using JavaScript. Calculator inputs and generated reports stay in your browser unless a specific tool clearly says otherwise (for example, tools that send a lookup query to a public API, or optional paid downloads whose payment is handled by a payment provider).

• We use cookies only through third-party services (Google Analytics, Google AdSense).
• We do not set any first-party cookies for tracking.
• You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The website will continue to function normally.

5. Affiliate Links

Selected finance calculators on DesiUtils.in include affiliate links to credit cards and other financial products. When you click these links, the destination network logs the click for attribution; we do not pass any of your calculator inputs to the network. 6. Third-Party APIs

Some tools fetch data from external APIs. These API calls contain only the search query (e.g., an IFSC code), not any personal information.

• IFSC Lookup: Razorpay IFSC API (your IFSC query is sent to their server).
• Pincode Finder: India Post API (your pincode query is sent to their server).
• Currency Converter: Open exchange rate API (no personal data sent).
• Mutual Fund NAV: AMFI/MFapi.in (fund scheme queries sent to their server).

7. Payments (optional paid downloads)

A few tools offer an optional paid download (for example, a detailed PDF report). The calculation and the PDF are still generated in your browser; your inputs are not uploaded.

• Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider, named on the checkout page and in our Purchase Terms, under that provider's own privacy policy.
• We never receive or store your card, UPI, or banking details.
• The provider shares with us only a payment reference and the contact detail you give it for the receipt, which we use for support and refunds.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Data Security

Your tool inputs stay local to your browser, which keeps the security surface minimal. The limited records we do handle - payment references and support emails for optional paid downloads - are kept only as long as needed for support and refunds. Payment transactions themselves are secured by the payment provider.

10. Your Rights

• You can disable cookies at any time via browser settings.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking.
• You can manage Google ad personalization settings.
• We don’t store your tool inputs, so there is nothing to request deletion of. For payment records, contact us with your payment reference and we will assist alongside the payment provider.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
