Purchase Terms

1. Who we are

DesiUtils is a registered MSME (Udyam-registered) based in India, publishing browser-based utility tools at desiutils.in. These Purchase Terms govern the paid offerings sold on the site - optional paid downloads and the Client Report Studio license - and apply in addition to our Terms of Service.

2. What you are buying

Two kinds of paid offering exist on the site. (a) Optional paid downloads - a personalized, deterministically generated PDF report (for example, the Vimshottari Dasha Detailed Report), computed from the inputs you enter, in your browser. (b) The Client Report Studio - a professional-use license to a browser-based calculation tool that composes co-branded calculation dossiers. Both are educational and cultural in nature, not medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice, and neither generates predictions, remedies, or interpretation.

3. Price and payment

  • The price is shown in Indian Rupees (INR) next to the download offer before you pay.
  • Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider named on the checkout page, under that provider's terms. We do not store your payment details.
  • The payment provider's receipt (with a payment ID) is your proof of purchase. Keep it - support and refunds work off the payment ID.

4. Delivery (in your browser, at purchase time)

  • After a successful payment, the PDF is generated in your browser. Depending on your browser it downloads to your device or opens for you to save - there is no shipping, and the report itself is not emailed automatically (the payment provider emails only the payment receipt).
  • Your unlock is saved in the browser you purchased in, so you can regenerate your report there without paying again. It does not carry to other browsers or devices, and clearing your browser storage removes it - so download and save your PDF.
  • Lost the file? Email us with your payment ID and we will help you regenerate the report. For some reports we first send a short code to the email address recorded with your payment, which you reply with.
  • Client Report Studio: your license key is the payment ID on your payment receipt, and it is shown on screen when your license activates - keep it. You can activate the Studio in up to two browser installations at a time, and deactivate one from an active installation to move to another. License validity is checked online periodically; the key has no expiry date.
  • Client Report Studio: the license covers the purchased major version of a hosted browser product. Maintenance fixes are included; future features, other language editions, and permanent availability of any particular browser environment are not promised.

5. Refunds

Paid downloads and the Client Report Studio license carry a 7-day no-questions refund (a Studio refund also terminates the license and its key stops validating shortly after). Email desiutils.in@gmail.com with your payment ID and we will initiate the refund through the payment provider - we aim to have it processed within 48 hours. For some reports we first send a short code to the email address recorded with your payment, which you reply with. See the Refund Policy for full details.

6. Fair use and the Studio license grant

  • A purchased report (paid download) is for your personal use. You may print it and share it privately; you may not resell or republish it.
  • The Client Report Studio carries a professional-use grant instead: one named practitioner may use the Studio for their own practice and create unlimited dossiers for their clients, and may give or sell a generated dossier to the client whose data it contains.
  • The Studio license itself may not be shared, sublicensed, or resold; Studio access may not be provided to others as a service; and the dossier templates may not be republished as a competing report product.
  • By entering a client's birth details into the Studio you confirm you have that client's consent or the authority to process them. Client details are processed in your browser and are never uploaded to us.
  • A refund of the Studio purchase terminates the license and the key stops validating shortly after. Dossiers already exported remain on your device and are not revoked.
